Pilgrimage of the Assumption will happen on day 17 of August

The program began on July 24 with the pilgrimage of the image by the Catholic Communities of the Parish of St. Joseph.

On August 16, the image will be loaded in procession from the Mother Church to the Church of Our Lady of Graces.

The 26th Pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Assumption will be held in sunday, August 17.

The programming of the day begins at 10:00 AM with the realization of a mass at the Shrine, located in nook St Joseph, in Taquari - River Grand of South - Brazil, with confessions and blessing of Health.

At 1:30 PM, is realized out to walk with the image of the Assumption, starting from the Church Our Lady of Graces to the Shrine - Our Lady of the Assumption.

The way of about four kilometers is done during an hour and half.

In the path, the faithful sing and pray.

At 3:00 PM, nigh of Shrine - Our Lady of the Assumption, is realized the celebration of a mass in a field area open, by the Bishop of the Diocese of Montenegro, Bishop Paul de Conto.

The event, held even with rain, is transmitted by Radio Fraternity FM 98.1

"Following Mary for the Freedom" is the theme of this year.
